A sense of responsibility is one of the values cherished by Indosuez Wealth Management. In our business, this translates into our determination to be a trusted partner for our clients. As such, we take care to protect their interests and comply with all applicable regulations.
In order to be a positive influence on each of our stakeholders, we are committed to upholding Corporate Social Responsibility through an improvement strategy, along with Crédit Agricole group, one of the highest-rated CSR-driven companies in the world. This strategy is centred on respect for our clients, employees and the environment. It is implemented through a variety of multi-annual projects, which in Switzerland range from recycling computer equipment, telephones and office waste to enhancing measures to prevent market abuse.
The men and women of Indosuez play an active role in our CSR and philanthropic initiatives in Switzerland. In the environmental field, a Committee of Sustainable Development volunteers from our Swiss offices work to promote the implementation of employee initiatives to improve our environmental footprint. Projects carried out by the Committee include water-saving devices and air conditioning optimisation.
Our employees also conduct local volunteer initiatives. Over 200 members of our staff took part in last year's Citizen Days, devoting a full day of their time to directly support projects to help local partner associations.
Inspired by our heritage in Switzerland, a country of rich philanthropic tradition, in 2012 we created a foundation to support NGOs working in the field to implement projects with a lasting and concrete impact on the environment. Through this foundation, we strive to improve environmental sustainability, particularly forest conservation and preservation, boost economic development and educate local communities.
The projects conducted with the financial support of the Indosuez Foundation underscore the international scope of its efforts, spanning countries such as Brazil, China, India, Lebanon, Madagascar and Senegal.
