The stories behind the creation of Indosuez Wealth Management, from the founding of the Compagnie Universelle du Canal Maritime de Suez in 1858 to the establishment of the Banque de l’Indochine in 1875, have been traced out in international ink. They evoke a time of opening up to the world across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
We already have a long history in Italy, dating back nearly half a century. Our story in Italy began with Banque de Suez, founded in 1958, which gradually added subsidiaries and holdings in Italy. This included Finanziaria Indosuez created in the 1970s with its own Wealth Management business. Our other ancestor, Banque d'Indochine, also began to expand in Italy from 1970 on.
The histories that have shaped us were then continued by Banque Indosuez, which was formed from the merger of these two leading banks in 1975.
In 1996, our story gained momentum when Banque Indosuez joined Crédit Agricole group. Over time, the group gradually combined its Wealth Management teams all over the world to create CA Indosuez Wealth Management.
Like in our early days, it is from Milan that we now offer families and entrepreneurs in Italy our full range of Wealth Management and Fiduciary services.
Our Italian teams are located in our Milan offices on Piazza Cavour. They are dedicated to Indosuez Wealth Management's clients, whether or not they are Italian residents.
These multi-disciplinary and highly specialised teams primarily work with families, ultra-high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs, helping them manage, protect and pass on their wealth.
